Two Days. One Experience: Wine, Watercolor & Garden Glow

November 4, 2026

By Beyond Excellent Consulting LLC

Some dates are better when they are not rushed into one evening.

For the first PLAN IT experience of November, we are building a two-day date around two very different moments:

Day One: Wine & Watercolors

Day Two: Garden Glow

One lets you create something together.

The other lets you step into something beautiful together.

That contrast is what makes the experience memorable.

How she should feel: Creative + Enchanted

Budget: $75–$150

Experience objective: Shared creativity that turns into anticipation

Day One: Create Together

Start with a relaxed wine-and-watercolor experience.

The goal is not to produce museum-worthy art.

The goal is to be willing to create, laugh, and enjoy the process together.

Keep the energy light.

Try this:

“At the end, we each have to name one thing we genuinely like about the other person’s painting.”

That keeps the activity supportive instead of competitive.

And when the session ends, do not immediately add dinner, drinks, and three more stops.

Let Day One stay simple.

Before you leave, say:

“Keep your painting. We’re not finished with this date yet.”

Now you have created anticipation for the next chapter.

Thoughtful Gesture: Protect What She Created

Bring a simple portfolio sleeve, folder, or protective envelope for her watercolor.

It is inexpensive, practical, and directly connected to the experience.

The message is subtle:

I thought beyond the activity.

That is exactly the kind of thoughtful detail Kourted encourages.

Day Two: Step Into the Glow

The next evening, shift the energy completely.

Instead of sitting and creating, you are walking.

Instead of paint on paper, you are surrounded by color, lights, and atmosphere.

Take your time.

Do not treat Garden Glow like something you need to finish.

Pause.

Take one good photo together.

Warm up near the fire.

Share a seasonal drink or treat.

Let the environment do some of the work.

Then connect the two days with one question:

“If you could add one color from tonight to your painting, what would it be?”

Simple.

Creative.

Connected to the experience you already shared.

The Budget

This experience fits best in the $75–$150 Kourted tier.

Budget for:

  • Wine & Watercolors admission
  • Garden Glow tickets
  • Parking
  • One seasonal drink or treat
  • A protective folder or sleeve
  • A small contingency amount

The goal is not to spend the full budget.

The goal is to create a complete experience without surprise expenses.

Masculine Leadership: Create Continuity

The leadership principle for this date is:

Connect the chapters.

Do not treat Day One and Day Two like two unrelated activities.

Reference the painting.

Reference the colors.

Reference the conversation.

Carry one detail from the first experience into the second.

That is what creates emotional continuity.

You are not simply booking two events.

You are building one story across two days.

Plan B

If the watercolor session is unavailable, keep the structure.

Pick up two inexpensive watercolor sets and create your own version at home, in a café, or in another comfortable setting.

The activity can change.

The emotional objective stays the same.

Create together. Build anticipation. Experience beauty together.

Why This Is Kourted

Anyone can book a painting class.

Anyone can buy Garden Glow tickets.

What makes this Kourted is how the experiences are connected.

  • You planned the pace.
  • You protected the budget.
  • You created anticipation.
  • You added one thoughtful detail.
  • You gave the first experience somewhere to go.
  • And you let the second experience deepen the memory of the first.

That is the difference between:

“We did two things this weekend.”

and:

“I planned something for us.”

Do not just find the event. Design the experience.

Plan the date. Build the look. Lead the moment.

She may remember what she painted.

She may remember the lights.

She may remember the colors.

But more importantly:

She will remember how she felt.

She will feel Kourted.

Your Turn

If you were planning this two-day date, would you create: separate paintings, paintings for each other, or one piece together?

Start Planning With Intention

Kourted helps men plan thoughtful dates, build the right look, and lead the moment with confidence.
